Types of Funerals

Traditional Funeral Service

A traditional funeral service is when a family chooses to have calling hours and a funeral with the body present. We offer full service traditional funerals.  Our spacious chapel is an ideal place for a family to receive family and friends when a death has occured.  Our staff and facility can accommodate a large number of people but also provide an intimate atmosphere for smaller gatherings.  Our funeral directors will be able to guide you to selecting the right services for your family.

Full Service Cremation

Our funeral home can provide a full service cremation for a family.  A full service cremation is when we have calling hours and a funeral with your loved one's body present at the funeral home.  After the funeral, your loved one will be cremated at your wishes.

Many people think that when someone is cremated it is final and that there are no other services to provide, however we find that many families deal with a death better when they can properly say their goodbyes with a viewing of the deceased and a proper funeral.  This provides closure to them and helps them deal with their grief in a healthy way.  Later on, if the family desires, they may keep the cremains of the loved one or they may be buried in a cemetery or scattered.

Direct Cremation

We are a full service direct cremation center.  A direct cremation is when a family or person request that the deceased is cremated immediately with no calling hours and no funeral.  If the family wishes to do so, they may hold a memorial service with the cremains in an urn after the cremation has taken place. And also, if the family would like to keep the cremains or bury the cremains at a cemetery it is their choice.

The most important part of a cremation service selection is knowing that our funeral directors will be with your loved one every step of the way through to cremation.

Please ask us about direct cremation and we will be happy to assist you in  making proper arrangements.

Direct Burial

When someone passes away, at their wishes, they request that there be no services which include no calling hours and no funeral.  This is called a direct burial.  In this case, the deceased will be buried without calling hours or a funeral.  If the family wishes, there may be a private family viewing, and then burial to follow.  At the grave, there may also be a graveside service if the family wishes to do so.

Direct Cremation Specialists

We understand that many people are choosing cremation as an option in pre-planning a funeral. Our funeral home specializes in Direct Cremation and will be happy to assist you in selecting the right funeral plans for your needs and your budget.
