Patricia A. Diederichs Obituary

Patricia A. Diederichs, 80, of Dolgeville, New York passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Little Falls, New York.

She was born on October 30, 1942 in Little Falls, New York and was the daughter of the late, Louis and Dorothy (Siver) Leskovar. Patricia attended Oppenheim-Ephratah Central School and graduated with the Class of 1960.

Patricia knew her way around a kitchen both professionally and at home. She prided herself on a perfectly cooked meal and enjoyed sharing stories from her many years in the restaurant business. She was truly talented in the art of “kitchen banter”. She loved a good fish fry, particularly one accompanied by the laughter and company of her life long best friend, Rosie Schuyler.

When her children were young, she enjoyed traveling as much as possible, often making the trip to Old Forge just to take in the scenery. Their longest adventure was a drive cross country to Alaska and back. She would tell you to this day that the most beautiful sight she had ever seen was the drive at sunrise from Calgary, CA down into Montana on their trip home.

She is survived by her children, Jodi Daley (Devin Presley) of Hornell, NY, Paul Diederichs (Jonalyn Davis) of Dolgeville, NY and Brandi Leskovar (Calvin Chrisman) of Salisbury Center; her grandchildren, Christel Daley (Avery Bentley) of Little Falls, NY, Elizabeth Hall of St. Johnsville, NY, Bashan Hall of Salisbury, NY, Joseph Hall of Ilion, NY, Michael Diederichs of Dolgeville, NY, Gabriel Leskovar, Jacob Chrisman and Alaynah Chrisman all of Salisbury, NY; great-grandchildren, Aryan Bentley, Joshua Bentley, Lily-Marie Bentley, Lavender Bentley all of Little Falls, NY, Leoric Stratton, and Scarlet Campbell of St. Johnsville, NY; siblings, Louis and Nelly Leskovar of VA, Dorothy Leskovar Bertholde of Herkimer, NY, and Robert and Pam Leskovar of Ilion, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Norma Stegich.
