Lacey L. Bevers, 28, of the Herkimer, New York area, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 4, 2024 in Herkimer, New York.
She was born on April 4, 1995 in Little Falls, New York and is the daughter of Supreana LaVenture and the late, Eugene “Sam” H. Bevers, Jr. Lacey attended Mohawk High School and completed her formal high school education in 2019.
She was formerly employed by several area business including construction and carpentry services.
Lacey enjoyed many outdoor activities which included camping, fishing, and hiking. She relished much joy with the time spent playing with her cherished nieces and nephews.
Lacey’s larger-than-life personality was a mild way of stating how truly out going and fun she was to those around her. She was always surrounded by her many friends and supportive family who loved her just the way she was. A loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Lacey will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her mother, Supreana LaVenture of Ilion, NY; maternal grandmother, Nancy McGowan of Mohawk, NY; paternal grandmother, Eva Bevers of Little Falls, NY; siblings, Andrew Bevers and his companion, Michelle Mead of Middleville, NY, Brandi Bevers and her companion, Codey Milne of Middleville, NY, Gennaleigh Austin and her husband, Andrew of Little Falls, NY, Mason Bevers and his companion, Kirstie Sklarz of Mohawk, NY, Alex Horner and his wife, Alesha of Herkimer, NY, Allysa Williams and her companion, Alex McClain of Little Falls, NY, and Dakota Bevers and his companion, Aliyah Gross of Mohawk, NY; her girlfriend, Jessica Penree of Ilion, NY; best friend, Antonia “Toni” Grower of Ilion, NY; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Lacey was predeceased by her father, Eugene “Sam” H. Bevers, Jr. on December 30, 2020 and her paternal grandfather, Eugene H. Bevers, Sr. on August 19, 2011.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329, Cremations and Funerals. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held immediately following the calling hours at the Dolgeville Rod and Gun Club, 697 Peckville Road, Dolgeville, New York 13329. All are welcome to attend.
