Robert "Rob" D. Tyoe, 62, of Dolgeville , New York , passed away unexpectedly at his home in Dolgeville , New York on January 25, 2021.
He was born on January 30, 1958 in Little Falls, New York . He was educated at Dolgeville Central School and graduated with the Class of 1976.
Rob was currently employed with the Town of Manheim Highway Department where he has worked for the last seven years. Prior to that employment, he worked as a tool and die maker at several local companies.
On April 4, 2014, Rob was united in marriage to the former, Stephanie L. Urdang in Gatlinburg, TN and shared a union of nearly seven years and 12 years together.
Rob was an avid motorcyclist and took much pride in his custom motorcycles. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and listening to great music. Rob was a foodie at heart and always enjoyed cold craft brews with friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie L. Tyoe at home; his loving son, McLane Tyoe and his mother, Terry Tyoe of Herkimer, NY; step children, Jacob Millard and his wife, Emily of Richlands, NC and Katherine Millard and her companion, Gerald Hill, of Oppenheim, NY; cherished step grandchildren, Paisley Millard and Laighton Millard; brothers, Mark Tyoe and his wife, Linda of Salisbury, NY and John Tyoe and his wife, Jill of Oppenheim, NY; his father, Everett Fical and his wife, Ann; siblings, Keith Fical and his companion, Gina of Ilion, NY, Kim Fical and her companion, Tun of Utica, NY, Eric Fical of Ilion, NY and Tammy Mosher and her husband, Edward of Ilion, NY; in-laws, Anita Petras and her husband, Seth of Little Falls and Tom Urdang and his wife Cindy of Oppenheim, NY; brother in-law Jason Urdang and his wife, Carrie of Mechanicville, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many fine friends who were more like family.
Rob was predeceased by his mother, Mary Lou Tyoe, his beloved Pops, Mark Tyoe and his sibling, Lisa Harris.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 11 am to 2 pm at Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street , Dolgeville , New York 13329 . All are invited to attend and we ask that you wear a mask or facial covering, social distancing procedures will be followed and contact trace information will be collected.
