Mary Ann E. Michalski, 72, of Parkside Courts, Dolgeville, New York, passed away on Tuesday evening, January 4, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, in Utica, New York.
She was born on October 6, 1949 in Amsterdam, New York and was the daughter of the late, William and Stella (Zurawiki) Michaski. Mary Ann was educated at Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam and graduated with the Class of 1967. She also attended college after high school.
Mary Ann was of the Catholic faith.
She previously worked for Bell Telephone for several years and then transferred to a banking career in the Amsterdam area.
Mary Ann is survived by her brother, Michael Michalski and his wife, Cynthia of Hagaman, New York; and several cousins and extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents, one brother, Ronald Michalski and a special cousin, Frederick H. Zerbst, Jr.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York. A memorial service will be held immediately after the calling hours at 3:30 p.m., also at the funeraL home with Rev. Brian K. Slezak, pastor officiating. A graveside service will take place at St. John’s Cemetery in Amsterdam, New York, at a later date, where she will be laid to rest with her parents and family.
