Kirstie Faith Pedrick Obituary

Kirstie Faith Pedrick, 44, of Little Falls, New York, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2023.

She was born on February 26, 1978 in Herkimer, New York and was the daughter of the late, Clayton and Marcia Pedrick. Kirstie attended Herkimer High School and graduated with the Class of 1996.

After high school, she was a driver for Little Falls/Bernie Bus for over 10 years. She furthered her education at John Paolo Xtreme Beauty School where she received her certification to become a master pedicurist. She then owned and operated Kirstie’s Salon from Head to Toe in the Town of German Flatts, alongside her sister, Margaret and her daughter, Chelsie.

In her spare time, Kirstie enjoyed attending social events and was active in many clubs including the Little Falls Elks, Salisbury Ridgerunners, Little Falls and Mohawk American Legions, the Sprite Club and several Rod and Gun Clubs. She also enjoyed tubing down the West Canada Creek, camping especially for her annual family reunion, snowmobiling, motorcycling, riding ATV,  traveling and in particular, visits to Bimini, Bahamas, baking Christmas cookies with the family and visiting with her friends. Her most precious time was spent in the company of her family, her children, Chelsie and Brent, recently relished in being “Glamma” to her 4-month-old baby granddaughter, Oaklynn Faith, in whom she adored and her special relationships she shared with each of her siblings.

Kirstie was a well-known friend to all who knew her. She had a group of friends in each town in our area as well as friendships formed in the many states she visited. She made friends easily and had an empathetic heart for each person she knew. Kirstie had a zest for life and was always the shining star wherever she went. Her passing will leave a void for all of us, but she would want you to remember all of the good times, the belly laughs and cherish each moment spent with her. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, Kirstie will be dearly and deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children, Chelsie (Cotton) Viscomi and her husband, Armand, Brent Cotton and his special friend, Riley; a cherished granddaughter, Oaklynn Faith Viscomi; brothers, Clayton (Duke) Pedrick and his wife, Sue, Raymond (Tom) Pedrick and his wife, Laura, Timothy Pedrick and his wife, Joyce; sisters, Margaret Manzo and her husband, Steve, Catherine Wadin and her husband, Mike, and Kimberly Harrod and her husband, Brian; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Kirstie was predeceased by her oldest sister, Brenda Lee Pedrick and very close uncle, Douglas Pedrick and several aunts and uncles.

A private family ceremony will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
