Cecelia M. Young, 88, of Waxhaw, North Carolina and formerly of Oppenheim, New York, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2022 in her home at Arcadia Care Home in Waxhaw with her loving family by her side.

The family wishes to thank Miguel and Karen at the Arcadia Care Home. Miguel and Karen loved on our mom every day until she took her final breath. They showed compassion and treated her with such dignity in her final few days.  We will forever hear Miguel’s voice saying “Cecelia”. It was that one voice that always seemed familiar to her.  They truly blessed our family by loving our mom well when so many of us were so far away.
