Bonnie W. Mamrosh Obituary

Bonnie W. Mamrosh, 69, of Dolgeville, New York, passed away on Thursday evening, December 31, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, New York, after a brief illness, with her loving family by her side.

She was born on November 12, 1951 in Little Falls, New York and was the daughter of the late, Ralph and Beverly (Carpenter) Cool. Bonnie was educated at Dolgeville Central School and graduated with the Class of 1969.

Bonnie was formerly married to James Seeley in 1970 and he passed away in 1971. On April 1, 1972, Bonnie was united in marriage to John A. Mamrosh at the Salisbury United Methodist Church. The couple shared a union of 41 years together when John passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2014.

Bonnie was formerly employed by Fiberdyne Labs in Frankfort, New York where she was an administrative assistant. She served her company for 15 years until her retirement. Prior to her employment with Fiberdyne, she previously worked at Daniel Green Shoe Company in Dolgeville and Beech Nut in Canajoharie.

She was member of the Salisbury Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Red Hat Society-Red Roses of the Mohawk Valley, and served on the board of directors for Salisbury Rural Cemetery. In her spare time, Bonnie enjoyed reading, camping, traveling, and attending concerts. Her most precious time was spent in the company of her family especially her children and grandchildren. Bonnie will be deeply missed by her family, friends and community.

She is survived by her beloved children, Jonathan Mamrosh of Clay, NY, Veronica Campione and her husband, Tommy of Homestead, FL, and Shannon Mamrosh and his companion, Amanda Seelman of Ilion, NY; cherished grandchildren, Melanie Campione of Homestead, FL, Alyssa Campione of Homestead, FL, and Nathan Mamrosh of Clay, NY; siblings, Linda Seeley and her husband, Martin, of Stratford, NY, Roger Cool of Texas, Tom Cool and his wife, Pam, of St. Johnsville, NY, and Charles Cool and his wife, Jackie of Michigan; in-laws, Michael Mamrosh of Booneville, NY, Doreen Mamrosh of Niceville, FL, James Mamrosh and his wife, Ruth of Dolgeville, and Joann Mamrosh of Dolgeville, NY; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Bonnie was predeceased by her brothers, David Cool and Jeff Cool, a brother-in-law, Donald Mamrosh and sister-in-law, Carole Mamrosh.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York 13329.
 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery  in Schyulerville, New York. All are welcome to attend the service and please arrive at the cemetery no sooner than 10-15 minutes before 1 p.m. in order to be escorted properly to the correct service pavilion.
