Mrs. Gail Marie Rowley 65, of 551 Dutchtown Road, Town of Salisbury, died on Christmas morning, December 25, 2017 at Little Falls Hospital after a suffering a heart attack at home.

 

Gail was born on July 4, 1952 in Little Falls, the daughter of Gordon J. and Helene (Congdon) Johnson and was educated in Oppenheim Schools.

 

Her marriage to Daniel Rowley took place on May 22, 1975 in Little Falls, New York. They celebrated 42 years of marriage this past May.

 

Gail was employed at one time by the Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville. However, her personal interest in crafts led her to her own business making and selling her craft ideas at local craft fairs. She could design many different and interesting pillows, blankets and other items to display at area craft fairs.

Gail also volunteered at the Dolgeville Food Pantry, assisting people in need, with the items supplied by the food pantry.

 

She is survived by her husband Daniel, of 42 years, a Son and his wife Daniel and Bonnie Rowley of Salisbury, a daughter Sherie and her husband William Quillan of Oppenheim, her brothers Edward Johnson of Dolgeville Gordon Johnson of Albany and Joseph Johnson of Ft. Plain, her sister Kim Markwardt of Gloversville and sister in law Sylvia Johnson, 3 grandchildren Dustin, Wyatt and Heidi, Nieces and Nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held in the Spring in the Salisbury Rural Cemetery, at a time to be announced.

 

Calling hours are on Wednesday January 3rd, 2018 from 2-4 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Burial will be in the Spring.
