Brune Anthony Ziolkowski

 Mr. Brune A. Ziolkowski, 86, of 474 Brockett Road, died Sunday morning June 17th, 2018 at Valley Health Service, where he was a resident since May 5th.

He was born in New Milford, Connecticut, on December 29, 1931 the son of the late Bruno and Eva (Popilowski) Ziolkowski, and was a graduate of New Milford schools.

Mr. Ziolkowski was united in marriage to Lois Rogers on September 11, 1954 in New Milford, Ct. They have celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Brune and his wife Lois farmed for all of their working life, first in New Milford, Ct., and then purchasing a farm on Ransom Hill, Rt. 167 in 1978. They continued to farm until 1999, when they retired.

While living in New Milford, he was a faithful and very active member of the Roxbury Volunteer Fire Department. His personal interests were in collecting John Deer tractors, and he thoroughly enjoyed farming.

He is survived by his wife, Lois of 63 years, his daughters Linda Roberts of Herkimer, Sandra Seymour of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Lisa Boepple of Little Falls, his grandchildren Roberts Seymour, Raymond Seymour, Scott Roberts, Ashley Boepple and Nathan Boepple, and four great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to his residence 474 Brockett Road, on Saturday June 23, 2018, between 1-4PM to celebrate his life.

The family would like to acknowledge with a “Thank You” to Larry Lynch, for all of his support and care shown to Brune, and a Very Special Thank you to the staff at Valley Health Services 2 East and to Dr. Sharma for their compassion and concern while he was a resident there.
