My condolences to Charlie, Linda and Barbara. I spent many happy hours playing bridge with Marian and Charlie when I taught at Dolgeville in the 1960's. I have many happy memories of those days and I hope your happy memories help at this time.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. I learned how to type from Mrs. Porter and also took her Business practice class. She was one of the best teachers that I had in high school.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of this wonderful woman who inspired me to continue my education and become a teacher myself. Mrs. Porter set an example of a caring educator with high standards. It was a privilege to know and learn from her.

Dear Mrs. Porter taught me Personal Typing during one summer school session at DCS. To this day, I remember her detailed coaching whenever I resolve any small detail of graphic etiquette or style.

My condolences to her family.
