Mrs. Dorothy M. Chrisman, 82, of 819 Curtis Road Little Falls (Town of Salisbury), died unexpectedly Sunday March 5, 2017 at Little Falls Hospital. At the time of her passing she was comforted by her family with their love and support.

She was born on November 3rd, 1934 the daughter of the late Carl and Delida (Voorhees) Rumrill, and was educated in Stratford school.

Her marriage to Charles C. Chrisman took place on March 25th, 1951 in Dolgeville. Mr. Chrisman predeceased her on September 22, 1990.

Dorothy will be remembered by her family as a stay at home mom, who always put her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren first. Recently she enjoyed adult coloring, to keep her mind sharp.

She is survived by Her sons and their wives, Calvin and Penny Chrisman of Curtis Road, Charles “Red” and Bonnie Chrisman of Stratford, Theodore “Teddy” and his companion Janet of Mohawk, Terry and Jackie Chrisman of Herkimer, a daughter Judy Chrisman of Dolgeville, 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons Ricky in 1960, Clifford in 1979 and most recently Christopher on January 5 of this year.

In keeping with her wishes there are no calling hours or funeral services at this time.
